Bowen Designs Yellowjacket

Bowen Yellow Jacket

Distributor: Bowen Designs
Sculptor Jason Smith (Digital Sculpture)
Size Over 12 inches
Type Statue
Release December 2010
Run Size TBD
Price $185.00

Robert's Two Cents
I’m a huge Hank Pym fan. I hate the way he has been vilified and reviled over the years. Jan has forgiven him why can’t Bendis? I was even willing to accept that he had developed a multiple personality and the Yellowjacket persona was responsible for him striking The Wasp. My favorite of his guises was Dr. Pym, Adventurer. I really liked Rover his AI flying vehicle. He kept a gillion inventions and gizmos in his pockets and somehow, amazingly, he never lost any of them.

Points in Favor

  • The colors are really good. Bowen has been doing a much better job of attaining the texture feel without making the colors splotchy for a while now.
  • Classic pose.
  • I like the goggles.
Points Against
  • The base is bland.
  • I’d have like a smaller Yellowjacket on there too that was flying or a companion mini Wasp flying around him.
Recommendation: HOT BUY! Yellowjacket is one of the most controversial characters from Marvel Comics ever. It’s especially interesting that the whole thing about him abusing his wife, The Wasp, seems to have been the result of a misunderstanding between the writer (Jim Shooter) and the artist (Bob Hall). This is one of the few male yellow costumes that makes sense and looks good. Wolverine, not so much. Winking smile

Bowen Designs X-Factor Jean Grey

Distributor Bowen Designs
Sculptor Mark Newman and Randy Bowen (hair and costume)
Size Over 12 1/2 inches
Type Statue
Release February 2011
Run Size TBD
Price $225.00

Robert's Two Cents

This is from one of my favorite periods of X-Men history. X-Factor was a great title for a while. This costume was best drawn by Walt Simonson.

Points in Favor
  • The colors are great. I'm a little iffy on the yellow, but I'm holding out hope it turns out better on the actual pieces.
  • The hair. It's great!
  • It's Mark Newman and Randy Bowen! That's a match made in heaven.
Points Against
  • The base is blah! I've bought worse though.
  • The energy signature should probably have more color.
  • I'd like the face to be just a little softer, but it's not keeping me from purchasing this one.

Recommendation: HOT BUY! I love it! She looks great. I'm looking forward to the eventual obvious Cyclops piece to go with it. And if I didn't already have a Beast, I'd really be looking forward to the Beast.

Bowen Faux Bronze Modern Captain Marvel Statue

Bowen Faux Bronze Modern Captain Marvel Statue

Distributor Bowen Designs website exclusive
Sculptor Kucharek Brothers
Size I haven't found the size of the statue yet, but I'm willing to bet it's around 15"
Type Faux Bronze Statue
Release Early 2011, Order Cutoff October 2010
Run Size TBD, Will be made to order
Price $250.00

Robert's Two Cents
This is the first post that I started in a while.

This version of Captain Marvel has one of the best costumes in Marvel Comics history. He also has one of the most tragic deaths of any comic character. Not to mention he probably has the best head of hair of any character in comics.

The faux bronze pieces have all been very nice. Zimm has several of them on display in his office and they make for an impressive sight. This one would fit in nicely with the rest of his collection or any other Bowen collection.

Points in Favor
  • The colors are just right for Captain Marvel and for a faux bronze.
  • The hair. Cap had the best 70s hairdo of any super hero.
  • The pose is iconic while not being overstated (like many Superman pieces)
Points Against
  • The base is blah! While I don't get as hung up on the bases as Zimm, I do expect more of this one. It looks like someone took a blank base and added pyrite on top of it.
Recommendation: HOT BUY! I like Captain Marvel. He's a great looking character and the fuax bronzes for the most part have been really nice. Personally I prefer the museum pieces in the faux bronze treatment over some of the more "actively" posed pieces. So this one is perfect in my opinion.

Bowen Designs: Tigra

Distributor Bowen Designs
Sculptor Mike Cusanelli
Size 13"H
Type Statue
Release November 2010
Price $175

Zimm's Two Cents
I thought the fur kept her warm. Okay, never mind.

This is a pretty piece.

Points in Favor.
  • Incredible colors and paint job.
  • Little pieces of detail that stand out. (e.g. claws, belt, pendant.)
  • For a museum based statue, the base is nice.
  • Long Hair on statues tends to be a difficult thing, but this one doesn't look that bad.
Points Against
  • Could she really go into battle with a wedgie?
Recommendation: Buy. This one would stand out. Colors, pose, and something different.

Robert's Two Cents
Sorry, I'm late to the game on this one. I was a huge West Coast Avengers fan back in the day. Tigra was one of my favorite characters. Then again I even liked Wonder Man back then. There's no accounting for taste.

Points in Favor.
  • Awesome paint job.
  • The stripes, color and paint are fantabulous.
  • It looks like Greer. I'm amazed at how good the face and hair turned out.
  • Her feet. They even have her walk perfected. She was prone to walk on the balls of her feet. It was a cat thing.
Points Against
  • I don't really have anything. It's a great piece.
Recommendation: I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm giving it a HOT BUY! It's simple and yet the details are great. I'm a fan of the character. Tigra may be tied with the first Black Widow statue for best female sculpt from Bowen Designs.

Bowen Designs: Yellowjacket

A digital sculptor. "Digital." Still an artist - just a new medium.

Distributor Bowen Designs
Sculptor Jason Smith
Size 12"H
Type Statue - Museum
Release Dec 2010
Price $185.00

Zimm's Two Cents
Not a big Yellowjacket fan. Is anyone really a Yellowjacket fan?

Points in Favor
  • Great colors. Even the 'shadows' are a little more subdued on this one.
  • Clean lines - but is that due to the 'digital' piece?
  • Muscles aren't really overdone.
Points Against
  • How many ribs can a person show?
  • Don't see much of a base.
Recommendation: Neutral. There is really that much to talk about on this one. It looks like a good piece, and Jason Smith looks to have done a really nice job. It just didn't launch off of the page and yell, "ORDER ME NOW!"

Robert's Two Cents
Um, I'm a Yellowjacket fan. More correctly, I'm a Hank Pym fan. He was originally a separate personality of Hank Pym's. then he beat his wife and it rolled downhill from there.

Generally I'm opposed to male characters wearing yellow as their primary color, especially their pants, but for YJ, I've made an exception.

Points in Favor
  • I think Bowen's team may actually be understanding how the paint job should be used to provide texture and tone. The colors on this is dead on.
  • I'm glad they didn't go the goggle route. The two lenses is definitely my preference.
  • Good standard super hero pose. Normally, I'd be mocking this, but it seems appropriate for Yellowjacket.
Points Against
  • The base is the standard bland base.
  • There really should be a tiny Wasp on the base or flying around or something.
Recommendation: Neutral. Why a neutral? Like Zimm said, there's nothing screaming "Gotta have it!". It's a standard depiction of Yellowjacket. Plus it needs a Wasp piece to go with it. Without the Wasp, Yellowjacket was not that interesting.

Bowen Designs: Sabertooth

Produced By Bowen Designs
Sculpted By Mark Newman
Type State
Size 12" H
Release Date September 2010
Price $245.00

Zimm's Two Cents
In a previous article, I sung my praises for Mark Newman's work, and while I am not 100% certain about this piece, Mark still did an incredible job.

Points in Favor
  • It's a Bowen piece by Mark Newman, so you are going to like it.
  • Incredible base. Did you see the skulls.
  • Face has a good expression, but I'm not that certain though.
Points Against
  • Lots of splotchy painting - as Robert would say.
  • Not quite certain about the face.
Recommendation: Buy. Not that I am 100% certain about this piece, but as I have enjoyed all of my Mark Newman pieces that I have purchased, I am quite certain that you will enjoy this one.

Robert's Two Cents
It's a great statue. I'm not sure what I'd pair it with though and it looks like it should obviously be paired. I'm pretty sure I don't need another Wolverine anything in my life these days.

Points in Favor
  • It's a very nice piece.
  • The base is phenomenal. Although, I would think the skulls would be fresher since it's Sabretooth.
  • This one is going to shock Zimm, but I love the paint. This is one of those times where the "splotchy" or textured paint effect works. I've always pictured this version of Sabretooth's costume to have a furry effect, almost velour-like. But that's just me.
  • This costume of Sabretooth's is one of my favorites in X-Mendom. Yes, I did just make up a word.
  • It's a great non museum piece. There haven't been enough of those in recent years.
Points Against
  • It looks like part of a set or series. I'm not sure I'm ready to plunge into another series right now.
  • I like the face, but it feels over done. It's almost a caricature of Sabretooth.
  • I don't think I want to buy another Wolverine to go with it.
Recommendation: Neutral. I'm not ready to buy into another set right now. It's not one that I have to have.

Bowen Designs: Kitty Pride

Produced By Bowen Designs
Sculpted By Roberto Von Behr
Type Statue
Size 14" H
Release Date September 2010
Price $175.00

Zimm's Two Cents
I've been waiting for this piece. I saw it as a sneak peak at Statue Marvels. Very exciting piece.

Points in Favor
  • Great paint on this one. No smudging.
  • Includes Lockheed!
  • I like the phasing through the base.
Points Against
  • I don't like the way that they painted her hair.
  • Not an overall exciting base - but an integral part of the statue.
Recommendation: Buy. I want to see the alternative version, but if you like this one, then you should grab it.

Robert's Two Cents
I want one. Well, I think I'll actually like the variant one better, but still.

Points in Favor
  • I love Lockheed and they did a great job with Lockheed.
  • Great pose and using the base as part of the design showing her powers was a terrific idea.
Points Against
  • As Zimm said, the base is bland. But it coordinates with the X-Men Beast statue.
  • Shouldn't this one really be called Sprite?
  • On Zimm's comment about the hair, he's right, I don't think I like it either. The paint job is great, but the way the hair is coming out of the back of her mask is weird. Unfortunately that's the way her hair worked when she wore that costume. That's the beauty of some of the later costumes she wore; the masks didn't cover her hair.
Recommendation: Buy. I think I'm probably going to like the variant better, but this one rocks.

Bowen Designs: Black Widow

With the upcoming release of Iron Man 2, what did you expect? Bowen had to have some related pieces.
Distributed by Bowen Designs
Sculpted by Tim Miller
Size 12"H
Release July 2010
Price $175.00

Zimm's Two Cents
Okay, I have to put aside the fact that she is appearing in Iron Man 2, and I have to put aside the fact that she has never been a character of interest.

Points in Favor
  • Great face, and the faces are one of the pieces that usually turn me off. Even the hair looks pretty good.
  • Detail. The gun. The zipper line.
  • Museum piece fits the Black Widow. My view of her is that she is too classy for anything flashy.
Points Against
  • The base is bland for a Bowen. . Seriously, Tim, a little more on your next one.
Recommendation: Buy. It's a good piece, but be certain to look for her in Iron Man 2

Bowen Designs: Mystique

Back to the statues for a moment, and then we can continue on some more interesting topics.

Distributed by Bowen Designs
Sculpted by Jason Smith
Size 12"H
Type Statue
Release August '10
Price $175.00

Zimm's Two Cents
Nice choice of character to sculpt.

Points in Favor
  • The belt. The costume. The blue color of the skin.
  • Base isn't incredible, but it still has something to add.
  • Great detail with the gun.
  • Like the pose. A little more then the standard museum piece.
Points Against
  • The face. Just something there that I don't like. Side view looks good, but then I am uncertain about the side view of the hair.
Recommendation: Neutral. Nothing that screams, "I've got to have it!"

Bowen Designs: Vulture statue

A classic Spider-man villain - the Vulture!

Distributor Bowen Designs
Sculpted by The Kucharek Brothers
Size 17"h
Release July 2010
Price $225.00

Zimm's Two Cents
Before I start, let me remind you - the Kucharek Brothers do some incredible pieces. As I have stated in the past, they are a favorite of mine, and I tend to bias their pieces from the start.

With that said,....

Points in Favor
  • It is the Kucharek Brothers. Detail, color, extras. Par for the course.
  • Look at the base. I love when they consider a rockin' base to go with the statue. The detail on the gargoyle alone are awesome.
  • Wings! Look at the Wings!
  • Interchangeable head. You can have a "Blackie Drago" head instead. Personally, I would probably keep the "Blackie Drago" head.
Points Against
  • While Robert may disagree, I even like the paint and colors. So, I have nothing.
Recommendation: This is one of my "Hot Buys". I think this piece looks great.

Bowen Designs: Dormammu bust

Distributor Bowen Designs
Sculpted by Jeremy Lloyd
Size 8"h
Release July 2010
Price $60.00

Zimm's Two Cents
Before I start, I like Dr. Strange, which means that I like Dormammu; however, that doesn't mean that I like a statue or bust.

But I like this one. Like is probably an understatement.

Points in Favor
  • The rich colors.
  • The detailed base.....too cool.
  • The manner in which Jeremy Lloyd did the head. Even the detail in the head is 'sweeeeet.'
Points Against
  • I'm not really sure that his muscles would show up in that type of a shirt; however, it is Dormammu. He probably has a spell for that.
Recommendation: Hot Buy! Jeremy really pulled out all of the stops on this one. I can even overlook the blotchy paint job that drives Robert crazy.

Robert's Two Cents
First, I'm amazed that Zimm spelled Dormammu correctly.

Secondly, he's one of the coolest looking villains ever.

Thirdly, I hate Dormammu, but that may be a blog post for another day.

Fourthly, Zimm, just like an iPhone app, yes, there's a spell for that (the muscles showing under his shirt comment that Zimm made).

Points in Favor
  • Awesome flaming head.
  • Something I typically don't get too hung up on, unless they're awesome, the base is cool.
  • It's the perfect Dormammu pose.
  • His collar. I wish I could pull off a collar like that.
  • That evil grin.
Points Against
  • Maybe they shouldn't have wiped off as much paint from the shirt as they did, but I can even overlook that.
Recommendation: Hot Buy! It's an amazing piece. I almost forget that it's a bust with the level of detail. I wonder what Bowen Designs would do with a Dr. Strange bust if they released one today.

Bowen Designs: Psycho-Man Bust

Hmmmm. Not quite certain how exciting this one is going to be.

Manufacturer Bowen Designs
Sculptor Avinash Hegde
Type Mini-Bust
Size Over 8"H
Release June 2010
Price $60.00

Zimm's Two Cents
I've never really been hooked on the Fantastic Four series, so I don't really know that much that I could tell you about the Psycho-Man.

Points in Favor
  • Good Sculpt. While it is a digital sculpt, the little things are what make most of these statues.
Points Against
  • Boring base.
  • I would prefer brighter colors on this one. This is one of the times that the 'splotchy' paint jobs really distract from the character.
Recommendation: Pass. Unless you love the Fantastic Four, this one really doesn't seem that big of a 'must have.'

Nope, not that exciting.

Bowen Designs: Longshot

A current member of X-Factor and a child of the 80s.

Manufacturer Bowen Designs
Sculptor Alex de Souza Moraes
Type Mini-Bust
Size Over 6"H
Release June 2010
Price $55.00

Zimm's Two Cents
Mullet? They had to do the one with the mullet? Especially with such a puffy front.

Points in Favor
  • Face. For some reason, I really like Alex's take on this one. Good job.
  • Colors - while it still has the 'blotchy' point, I do like the different shades of blue, the tan belt, and skin.
  • Little hints of detail - eyebrows, belt.
Points Against
  • Right wrist looks off.
  • Plain base.
Recommendation: I'm 50/50 on this one. At first glance, I wanted to Buy it. After looking it over, I'm not quite sure. It looks to be a good buy, I'm just not sure. Neutral.

Price $259.00 -- Order Here.

Zimm's Two Cents
WOW!

Points In Favor
  • Belt is wired so that you can customize it.
  • Hair looks good.
  • Did they actually put reflections in the boots?! cool.
  • Different pose from the standard frontal positions. She looks like she is about to be hit by something.....but isn't one of the reflections cap?
  • Colors - Clean nice paint job.
Points Against
  • Face. I want more of a "Just Try It" type of look. Or, a "I am definitely going to kick your ass."
Recommendation: Buy. Sideshow did a good job on this one. Only the price gives me real pause on this one. Sideshow needs to put out some affordable marvel mini-busts.

Bowen Designs: Warriors Three

Another bust pack! The Kucharak Brothers put out some rockin Guardians of the Galaxy recently, and now Mike has put out the Warriors Three.

Distributor Bowen Designs
Sculpted By Mike Cusanelli
Type Busts
Size
Hogun - 6.75"
Fandral - 7.5"
Volstagg - Over 10"
Release May 2010
Price $195.00

Zimm's Two Cents
With everything that is going on with Thor, these are some prominent characters, but did it really take Volstagg this long to discover hamburgers? Anyway.

One more side note, before I get started, Bowen Designs puts out some incredible stuff, and when I give my two cents, that is all they are - my two cents. It is one of the reasons that I enjoy Robert giving his two cents and hearing from you. Don't be afraid to speak up and correct us. That is what makes all of this more enjoyable.

Points In Favor
  • Three pack means that you get them all at once. Saves time.
  • Maintained the traditional garb and look of the characters.
  • Each base is a tad bit different.
  • Little pieces of detail show up here and there - especially on Hogun.
Points Against
  • Not that keen on Fandral's face. Do kids these day even know Errol Flynn?
  • Again - Fandral's sword. Hmmmmmm.
Recommendation: Neutral on this one. I like, but I don't like. Good set, but not necessarily for me.

Bowen Designs: Pyro Bust

Sorry for the delay in posts and the scattered shot approach as of late, but I have been buried with work and personal factors. So - here we go.

Distributor Bowen Designs
Sculpted By Joseph Menna
Type Busts
Size 11" H
Release May 2010
Price $75.00

Zimm's Two Cents
Remember, I tend to enjoy the villain statues/busts more, so I might be slightly biased. However, this is still a great piece.

Points In Favor
  • Flames add an additional 3.5" in height. Without the flames, the statue is only 7.5" tall.
  • Love the colors. Clean - don't see much of Bowen smudging.
  • I like Menna's work. The statue is nice.
  • The flames - too cool. The way that it holds the bust up are too cool. You will have to head over to Bowen designs to take a look.
Points Against
  • The hair.....no, I like that. Hmmmmm. I like that too. Guess I don't have one.
Recommendation: Simple - Hot Buy. I will be ordering this one.

Bowen Designs: Guardians of the Galaxy

Distributed By Bowen Designs
Sculpted By the Kucharek Brothers
Sizes
Charlie 27 - 8”H
Martinex - 7”H
Starhawk - 7.5"H
Vance Astro - 8.75"H
Yondu - 8.5"H
Release April 2010
Price $400.00 - Website Exclusive

Zimm's Two Cents
Kucharek Brothers tend to do some great stuff, and this is no exception. The fun part of this one is that you can pick up all five characters at once. Yes, I realize that means dedicating some much valued shelf space for the group of them, but what the heck, they are the Guardians.

Points in Favor
  • Good Price for 5 Detailed Busts
  • Each bust is uniquely different and represents the Guardian it is supposed to
  • Love the Colors and detail on Yondu, while Starhawk wings rock.
  • While somewhat bland, I do like the fact that all of the bases match.
Points Against
  • Smudged painting. Robert points it out a lot, and I am starting to notice it. I know why it is there, but sometimes it seems to be overkill.
  • Kind-of wish that either Charlie 27 or Martinex had slightly different pose. Nitpicking there, but I'm just saying what I think. It's not enough to deter me though.
Recommendation. Hot Buy. It is a lot of money, but you would probably spend the same amount (if not more) for five statues of similar quality.

Robert's Two Cents
As a huge Guardians of the Galaxy fan, I love this set. I like the standalone Collector's Club exclusive Vance Astro/Major Victory even more. I wish Jim Valentino was still working on a GoTG series. That was one of the most fun comics of the 90s.

Points in Favor
  • Lots of detail and good poses for most of them.
  • They're the Guardians of the Galaxy.
  • They are a very tight set and the colors are amazing. Even with the skin tone issues I have with Bowen Designs, I give the paints a thumb's up.
  • They're expensive, but good quality and you can get the whole set at once.
  • The Yondu bust's pose is much better than the Hawkeye bust that Bowen released several years ago. I like the arrow drawing action.
Points Against
  • Where's Nikki? Or Aleta? I know they came along a bit later, but not much later.
  • Yondu is one of my favorite characters and he's well done, but I'm not very happy with the paint on his skin portions. Like Zimm says, I get why it's done this way, but I want it better.
  • Vance's pose. It looks like he should be holding Cap's shield. And if you see the Collectors' Club exclusive, you can see that he should be holding Cap's shield.
  • I see Zimm's point on Martinex and Charlie 27. I'm not sure what you could do with Charlie other than put a massive gun in his hand, but Marty certainly could have a better pose.
  • On the Collectors' Club Vance, he should be wearing the GOTG badge. He had it when he had the shield.
  • Marty wasn't quite that transparent when the team was wearing these costumes, but hey, at least we get a Martinex that looks cool.
Recommendation. Hot Buy. Overall, I have a lot of nits to pick, but none of them or even the collective is big enough to sway me. If I can sell this one good kidney I have, I'll own these.

Bowen Designs: Captain America Ultimate

Distributed By Bowen Designs
Sculpted by Tron and Randy Bowen
Size 13.5" H
Release Spring 2010
Price $200.00
WEBSITE EXCLUSIVE !!
Zimm's Two Cents
I already have Captain America. In fact, I have two Captain Americas. If I had bought the bust, that would have made 3 Captain Americas. How many Caps do I need?

Points in Favor
  • Detail. And when I say "detail", I mean DETAIL.
  • Good sculpting, but were the details just added to a previous piece?
  • Website Exclusive means limited run - until they bronze it.
  • If I mentioned the belt, gloves, boots, or shield straps - I would simply be talking about the detail again.
Points Against.
  • Smudged Pants.
  • Another bland base. What's happening here?
  • Another Cap? How many (of the same general pose) can a person collect?
Recommendation: Neutral. For me it is a Pass. If you love Cap or the Ultimate line, it is a decent piece, but I prefer the variety that Bowen puts out on a more regular basis. Personally - I would go grab the Ant Man....or Havok. OR - EVEN BETTER YET - Grab that awesome Gladiator piece!

Bowen Designs: White Queen

Over the holidays, Bowen release a series of statues from Ultimate Captain America, Modern Black Panther, and two versions of the White Queen. Two White Queens!

Distributed By Bowen Designs
Sculpted By Mark Newman
Release
-- Modern April 2010
-- Retro May 2010
Size 12" H
Price
-- Modern $180
-- Retro $170

Zimm's Two Cents
Sometimes you can have to many Queens in one place, but I don't think that this is one of the times.

Points in Favor
  • You get to pick the one that you like more. I like the Modern version.
  • Mark Newman is the sculptor. If you've been reading some of my posts, I tend to like his work.
  • Slightly different poses for the same character. Instead of the same pose with costume change.
  • Little touches of detail. The lipstick change, the belt, the boots.
Points Against
  • Base is bland for a Bowen - bet it heads to the Bronzer.
  • Not sure I like the lipstick colors - even though they are accurate.
Recommendation: Buy. These look to be some nice pieces, but HEY, I warned you. I tend to enjoy Mark Newman's stuff.

Also, some guy's might enjoy having a scantly clad White Queen hovering around their office, so it is probably more of a buy for you.

Robert's Two Cents
Zimm, this is a side of you I didn't know existed.

These are both very nice. I do prefer the Diamond Select White Queen statue from a few (several now) years ago (Google it).

Points in Favor
  • I like the modern one too. The exception is I prefer the hair, face, and red lipstick on the retro one better.
  • This is going to sound like I'm singing along with the choir with Zimm this time around.
  • I like the multiple poses. The poses actually fit the eras from which Emma Frost wore these two costumes.
  • A side note based on the previous bullet point: the retro White Queen looks older than the modern White Queen. The same thing is true in the comics. The classic White Queen (think John Byrne era) looks older than the modern one (John Cassaday).
  • Base? There's a base? Didn't notice.
Points Against
  • This isn't really a point against the statue, but the character design itself. I don't like the white lipstick on the modern one.
  • The pose of the retro one is a bit too tame. She was fierce even then.
Recommendation: Buy. I'm really surprised Zimm and I agree on this one based on the subject.

Very nice. Buy whichever one you prefer. Me, I choose the modern one.

Bowen Designs: Ant-Man Deluxe

Produced By Bowen Designs
Sculpted By Jason Smith
Size 12"H
Type Statue
Release March 2010
Retail Price $200.00
WEBSITE EXCLUSIVE!

Zimm's Two Cents
We reviewed the other piece, but as we mentioned, this is the real buy! It has the one thing - Ant Man growing from small to large form! How cool is this!

I've never been that big of an Ant-Man fan, but this piece is sweet.
Recommendation: This is the HOT BUY of the two. Just look at the second pic that Bowen took of the piece. You can just imagine him growing in size.

You can find our original review here for the Ant-Man 'regular' statue, or you can order the Deluxe version by clicking here.

Robert's Two Cents
This Ant-Man statue rocks!

I love the transition between small and large and the way it was executed. The quarter base is just as cool here as on the original piece.

The only question I have is, is this supposed to be Hank Pym or Scott Lang?

Recommendation:This Ant-Man statue is a definite HOT BUY. Now, I just have to figure out which organ I'm going to sell to get it.
