Wow! They have some announced some really cool items as of late, and I know that we will be covering them over the next few weeks, and to start all of this, I wanted to spotlight the new Sideshow Collectibles bust of Galactus - with Silver Surfer!!!!

Zimm's Two Cents
By far, one of my favorite representations of Galactus, which includes a defiant Silver Surfer!

Points In Favor:

• The sheer size of Galactus is captured through the addition of the Silver Surfer.
• Silver Surfer!
• Sideshow held true to the original concept and design of the Galactus.
• The paint job looks clean and detailed. Look at the eyes and the back of the helm.

Points Against

• I'm not quite that certain that Galactus' face should look like an angry Grandpa.

Recommendation: Hot Buy! In fact, I would almost put this one at a very Hot Buy. This bust has quickly become my all-time favorite Legendary Scale Bust.

Robert's Two Cents
This bust is sweet. I'd even say this is the reason busts should exist as comic book collectibles.

Points In Favor:

• Sheer size and detail.
• Scale of Galactus vs. Silver Surfer.
• Definitely captures the essence of the character.
• Sideshow's paint jobs have been phenomenal.
  

Points Against

• Price
• Zimm, of course he should look like an angry grampa. He's hungry. Don't you look angry when you're hungry?
• He may look a little constipated, but if you ate planets for your dinner, you probably would too.
  

Recommendation: Hot Buy! I'm not sure which would be my favorite, this one or the Apocalypse. This captures the essence of Galactus, but the Apocalypse is Apocalypse in 3D. Still it would be very high on my list.
