Halo - Master Chief, 1:2 Scale Bust

Apparently, One2One will be producing a series of Halo 1:2 Scale Busts based upon the Halo Series. Do you think it has something to do with the new game that they are putting out?

Zimm's Two Cents
I'm glad to see some another company stepping into the game and offering us some rather nice pieces. While I have purchased a couple of these pieces as gifts for my brother and nephew, I don't play the game. I've seen it.

Points in Favor
  • The paint and color on this are incredible. From the different shades of the green and grey/black pieces of the armor to the gold shine of his face plate, This was painted nicely.
  • Edition Size of 650 helps with this being a nice collector's item.
  • An ongoing aspect of these 1:2 Scale busts is that sometimes you don't really understand the level of detail until you look at the back of the statue, which holds true here.
Points Against
  • Longevity of the collectible. Once the game finally fades into the past will this piece still be worth having.
Recommendation: Neutral. While it is a nice piece, this is a piece definitely designed for the Halo player - who never will (or wants to) forget the days, weeks, and months he/she spent playing the game.

I like the piece depicting Master Chief coming out of the bubble shield a lot better. Anyone who has blasted their way into and out of one of those shields would love the thing.

Of course, you would have had to have felt the recoil of your needler to understand, Zimm.

Finally fades, indeed.
