Ame Comi Black Canary - Not so much. This one is a little too Yu Gi Oh for my tastes. I really like most of this series, but a few have been real misses for me. These are starting to get too expensive for what they are though. $55. Pass!Ame Comi Huntress - This one rocks! I haven't looked too closely at the shoes yet, but I really, really like the Huntress. Hot Buy!
Penguin Black & White Statue based on a Brian Bolland design. The Batman Black & White series is another one that is hit or miss for me. I didn't really like the Joker and I don't like this Penguin. While Brian Bolland is the artists' artist and almost any of his artwork translates well to 3d, this piece doesn't do it for me. I think he just messed his pants. Sciver Batman. Or maybe he just needs some Depends. Pass!Last, but not least, is the DC Direct Darkseid Bust, this is another in the same series as the Hal Jordan bust that Zimm reviewed earlier. While I'm glad they're not jumping right into Superman and Batman, this Darkseid is not one of DC's winners. The face on this one is just plain lifeless. I know he's supposed to look stone like, but he's not supposed to look like he belongs on Mount Rushmore. Pass!
