I do enjoy this series. Ame-Comi does a good job on reinterpreting the characters.
Points in Favor
- Great Colors - but that tends to be standard with Ame
- I think my Niece would give up points for the boots, so I will for her.
- The hair - lightening bolts.
- I like the overall costume design.
- Is that a natural poise?
As a side note: John Matthews is doing a good great in this series.
Robert's Two Cents
I love this series, but I don't like this one.
Points in Favor
- The shoes. They are great and perfect for SheFlash...I mean Jesse Quick.
- The face is off. Almost plastic looking. No pun intended.
- Weird pose.
- I don't like the costume. It's a basic Flash rip off, which Jesse Quick is not.
- The costume is also generic off the shelf spandex, which Jesse Quick is not.
As a side note: John Matthews is doing a good great in this series.

The niece has weighed in on the shoes of the Flash and the Joker.
She does approve of Quick's shoes; the Joker, though, should not be in heels.
She continues to question the 'sexism' of some of the costumes--Dent's--although she does like of the googles.
Her thoughts--not mine.
Here's my bit. The shoes on the Joker seem a bit school marmy to me. The heels are appropriate for the overall look and feel of the outfit.
The Joker costume may be oversexualized, but I haven't seen many of these that haven't been. Mostly this is due to the inspiration for the Ame Comis. This whole line is DC as imagined by anime artists. I'm surprised they haven't done more tentacle rape school girl poses.
