Zimm's Two Cent's
Less the Watusi pose, I kind of like this piece. I realize that this is supposed be a counter piece to the Batman Bust, but Batman is in an action pose and she is dancing. Hmmm. But wasn't Barbara always the fun one?
Points in Favor
- Great Colors. From the yellow, to the grey / yellow costume, to the blue in her eyes.
- I am pleasantly pleased with the sculpting. I like the seams and details in the costume. Her face looks good.
- Attention to the detail. The belt, her face, hair, and gargoyle base.
- Gargoyle base. DC Direct is really getting into some of these bust bases.
- The Watusi pose? I don't really have much against it. I like the piece.
Robert's Two Cent's
Points in Favor
- I like the Barbara Gordon Batgirl. She's one of my favorite character. I always thought it was too bad Joker paralyzed her when I was just a wee lad.
- Amanda Conner is a great artist. She's probably the only person other than Adam Hughes and Kevin Maguire who should ever draw Power Girl. She draws awesome female characters.
- Detail, detail, detail.
- I'm going to have to look up Watusi in the Wikipedia.
- I have a really cool Batgirl bust already.
