It's been a while since Marvel has launched a new series that piques my interest.
In November, Marvel Comics will release the first issue of an ongoing series featuring SWORD. They are the alien defensive side of SHIELD (or more like the SHIELD is like the FBI of Earth and SWORD is like the CIA). The book will feature a power struggle between Agent Brand and Henry Peter Gyrich, who has been a pain to super hero teams for at least as long as I can remember.
Also, Brand's core team will include the Beast and Lockheed, who is still missing Kitty Pryde.

It's funny. I didn't really get SWORD and SHIELD until I was writing this up.
