Granted - I ranted about DC providing some other characters then Batman and Superman, and this series has provided. However, DC is starting another series titled "Gotham City Stories", and you can guess who they start with.
Okay, let me get to the bust.
I haven't really liked all of these; however, I have ordered the Green Arrow and am considering ordering the Aquaman bust.
Points in Favor
- The colors. The red and yellow are striking!
- The base includes the Seven Deadly Sins - with their names. Nice touch.
- Little Details throughout. The cape and lightening bold are sculpted and not just painted. The clothes (cape and spandex) include creases. The veins in his fists.
- Maintained the 'boy scout' look that Shazam! is supposed to represent.
- I only really have one. While his face looks good in the one that I posted, the other shot does not look so hot. Now that may simply be some shadowing, I can't say one way or another.
- Colors on the base are a tad bland.

His face looks a little plasticky. Also there's something wrong with any character that can't say the title of his own book without losing his powers.
Exactly. I couldn't figure out what I didn't like about his face, but plasticky is it. But isn't he supposed to be that perfect?
Perfect? Yes. Plastic? No. He's supposed to be a younger, handsomer version of Fred MacMurray.
