Bowen Designs: Destroyer

First off - before I get into my points. If they are going to keep producing the villains in these poses (which in my opinion rock), then we are going to need more heroes in counter poses. Right now, I have Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Black Panther - to name a few - that could go opposite this. Thor would rock.

Zimm's Two Cents
I did not comment on this statue earlier, as I really did not have anything to say about it; however, with the recent "gunmetal" release coming out at the same time, I thought that I had better.

Points in Favor:

• Good sculpting - clean sharp details.
• Lots of detail for a character with little detail
• Nice pose - see previous comment.

Points Against

• The base, for a Bowen statue, is rather bland.
• Not a very colorful character - guess that is why they did the gunmetal version.
• Its the Destroyer - not much to him.

Recommendation: Pass. Grab one of the bronze statues while you still can, and if do go for one of these, go ahead and spend the extra money and try and get the gunmetal (website exclusive) version for $250.00.
