According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fables, the series about fairy tale characters living the in the modern world, is being developed by Warners for the ABC network with "Six Degrees" creators Stu Zicherman and Raven Metzner at the helm. David Semel is on board to direct.
The structure of the show is not set yet, but said to be flexible enough to allow any character to appear and take focus, but Snow White and Bixby Wolf are said to be central characters, as they are in the comics.
This is the second time that an attempt has been made to bring Fables to TV. The first was for NBC in the 2006-07 season.
Maybe Bill Willinghams' 20+ years in the comics industry will finally result in a nice big paycheck for him.
