Jim Aparo Batman Black & White Statue

Im taking a look at the new releases list and I saw two things that interested me. Ill start with one and probably get a post up about the other later today.

I was looking forward to the day they released a Jim Aparo design in the Batman Black & White series and honestly, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Jim Aparo was among the best Batman artists ever and one of the longest running artists as well. So of the many, many poses he has done for Batman, why did they choose this piece? It's a nice statue. I just know it could/should have been better.

I'll give it a Neutral.

Pros: It's a Jim Aparo design. His facial expression. His left hand. This is a classic Batman pose. If I hadnt had high expectations, it would probably be a Buy.

Cons: It should be better.
