After seeing this statue in the recent Wizard and then reviewing the various pictures of it on Sideshow Collectibles, I definitely wanted to place this item on a HOT BUY list. While I was never a big fan of the the costume, this statue alone could change my opinion.

Actually, other than the tentacles, this is one of my favorite Spider-Man costume designs. Plus it has many of the benefits of the symbiote costume without the issues of it taking his body out for a spin without permission. In the original design by Chris Bachalo, he had the tentacles as Doc Ock arms. I thought that was a more appropriate approach.

The statue looks awesome though.

I was at Universal Studios this past weekend. They have this statue in the Spider-Man ride shop in Islands of Adventure. It's huge and sweet! I'd be all over it if I had the spare cash.
